Terms of Service

Last updated: [to be completed: date of this version]

These terms describe what GarageOS is, what you can expect from it and what it expects from you.

Details still to be completed

The passages marked “to be completed” wait for the operator's legal details. Until they are filled in, this page describes how GarageOS works and is not yet the final legal document.

GarageOS is provided by [to be completed: legal name of the operator of GarageOS], [to be completed: postal address of the operator]. Contact: [to be completed: contact email address].

GarageOS is a place to keep your vehicles' history: service records, maintenance plans, mileage, costs, documents and diagnostics, with optional AI features that help you enter and use that data.

GarageOS is a record-keeping tool. Its due dates, summaries and AI answers are based on what you entered and are information, not professional advice: they do not replace the manufacturer's service schedule, a mechanic's diagnosis or a roadworthiness inspection.

You need an account to use GarageOS. Keep your password to yourself and tell the operator if you think someone else has used your account. Enter only data you are entitled to keep, and do not use GarageOS to break the law or to disrupt the service for others.

Everything you enter and upload remains yours. The operator uses it only to provide GarageOS to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it or ask for its deletion at any time in Settings.

GarageOS has a free plan. A paid plan with more AI operations is described on the start page and in Settings; when it is sold, payments are handled by Stripe.

No paid plan is sold yet. Its billing, renewal, withdrawal and refund terms will be published here before one is.

The operator works to keep GarageOS available and your data safe, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside the operator's control. Features may change over time.

[to be completed: liability, complaints procedure, how changes to these terms are announced, governing law and dispute resolution]

You can stop using GarageOS at any time and ask for your account to be deleted in Settings → Your data. The operator may suspend an account that is used to break these terms or the law.
